Titahi Bay has a proud history of Surf Boat rowing, winning the National Open Boat Title more than any other club and also representing NZ on numerous occasions over a number of decades. Titahi Bay has won the New Zealand Surf Boat Club of the Year trophy every year since 2016 - this is awarded based on the amount of points accumulated by all surf boat crews over the course of the annual New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships.
